When I made the switch from wireless to wired I didn't have to do a thing. Just plugged in the ethernet cable and all worked fine.

I assume you're using a USB wireless adapter. If your LAN has a DHCP server, such as that in a home router, then it should work fine.

If you happen to be using a wireless ethernet bridge with a USB-ethernet adapter, your LAN won't notice any difference at all.

Well when I switched from the wireless to wired (yes it's a usb adapter) it seemed like it took a few minutes for it to recognize the tivo on the network but after everything worked fine. then I switched back to the wireless - and I started getting the blank NPL. Took a really long time for it to recognize it on the network wirelessly again (like all day - I couldn't get TWP on it either). After work, got home and it finally looke dliek it worked again. Does this sound normal - does it take something like four hours for it to be completly recognized again? What I mean by completly is I would check one time and see the NPL, then go the live TV and come back and the list is gone. But now a full day later everything seems to be back to normal.
