I got my new Circuit City mailer yesterday and they show the new S3. They say available in October, and no price listed.

Best Buy reportedly has an exclusive on the Series3 for a few weeks.
That would make sense. Either that's the real release date or Best Buy has a few weeks of exclusivity.
(unintentional smeek - typing at the same time, I guess)

This should have been posted in the new TiVo Standalone HDTV PVRs forum.

the next person to explain that a smeek is when you see a post and go ahead and reply without seeing that someone already replied with an answer will have smeeked. Named after jsmeeker who for a while had the rep for replying to the OP in a long thread without reading the trhead.
A smeek is when you reply to a post without reading the whole thread and end up repeated what someone else just said.
Like this reply. :)

There even used to be a Wikipedia entry, but it was taken down.
Time to figure out what I want named after me.
Have to make sure it is a good thing though.
"You just phox'd, good for you" or "Way to mulder that one".

What is a smeek?
(Is that an example of a 'reverse smeek'?)

Thanks for the info. It's funny to know it was actually named after a person on this site. :)
