The bad news is that until the writers strike is over, the remainder of the season will consist entirely of clip shows and improved episodes.

Why would improving the episodes be a bad thing? Granted, they're already very good, but there's always room for improvement.

They have only three new episodes left in the can -- after that it's a long dark winter of discontent for us all. :(

They have only three new episodes left in the can -- after that it's a long dark winter of discontent for us all. :(

They're still in production and shooting 13 episodes. The last one was the seventh so that should leave six more episodes.

Bittersweet news.

Definitely my favorite new show of this season, too bad it will not be with us for much longer if they don't resolve this strike.

This was a show I didn't think I was going to like. I figured I'd give it a couple of episodes then delete the SP. I don't plan on deleting the SP anymore! This show rocks. Hope the strike doesn't completely make it foxtrot uniform.

According to Ausiello Reports (http://community.tvguide.com/blog-entry/TVGuide-Editors-Blog/Ausiello-Report/Strike-Chart-Long/800026937) at TVGuide.com, they are producing 11 episodes, not 13. Seven have aired, so there are four left.

Still, that's 33% better than just three episodes left. :)

Reports here that they'll be finishing at least thirteen. I knew that I had heard that was the case.

The disparity may be between the number of scripts they're getting and the number of episodes they're shooting. Some shows have apparently incurred problems with location shooting due to picketing.

13 episodes would be better than 11 -- so I hope you're right and Ausiello is wrong.
